On her first album, Jeannie has collaborated with several others to create a unique selection of musical masterpieces.
’Emerald Rainbow’ (the song)-Karen Sparkman sings with a pure, sweet voice similar to Twila Paris and Michelle Tumes. Her spoken words of Revelation, chapter 4, bring this future prophecy to life!!
Awesome rendition of John’s vision of the "Throne of God" in Heaven. Celtic-Renaissance flavor with clear, crystal bells leading to the entrance to the gates of Heaven!!
Sisters Jeannie Allen and Karen Sparkman first conceived the idea for Emerald Rainbow back in 1998 when they began collaborating together to record their own original music.
Tyler Allen was only eight when he quoted the "23rd Psalm" on ’Green Pastures’. Tyler has a hearing impairment and to record this well-known Psalm, Jeannie had to speak each phrase clearly to him through the studio mike as Tyler listened intently through his headphones. This will bring tears to every mother’s eyes when she sees there is hope for every child to "hear the voice of God" !
Paula Turnage (vocals on ’My Redeemer’) has been singing since she was a child and has had classical voice lessons. She has a smooth, velvety, crystal clear voice that soothes the soul and leaves you begging for more. She sings truly from the heart. Her sound is very similar to Sara Groves and Enya, and even Sheila Walsh.
Jeannie Allen started playing piano when she was just 3yrs old. She has played piano in churches for over 30 years. Her experience includes playing piano at a popular local family restaurant and for numerous bands as well as playing for over 15 churches throughout the last 30 years. After playing for choirs, soloists, congregational hymns, and various trios and quartets, Jeannie finally decided her true joy came from improvising her own arrangements of well-known old hymns as well as her own original compositions.
She developed her home-recording studio, New Dreams Sound, and began to record and produce all her own recordings. Jeannie found this freedom to create all her music from beginning to end such a great challenge compared to playing traditional arrangements at the churches she had always played at before.
Jeannie’s style is similar to Enya and Yanni on the keyboards. After hearing this music, it will leave you wanting to hear more.
Quotes; "She plays with so much joy!!"
"She is a true arranger!" "She is wonderful at improvising" "You bring tears to my eyes when you play the piano"! "You bring so much feeling to your music!"
Be watching for Jeannie’s next CD soon to be released!!
