Weitere Informationen vom Distributor:
Don Dodd started writing songs to celebrate his love for his late wife. The song he wrote was Rainbows, which is on Volume 1. One of the photographs on the cover of the CD case is of Don and his beloved Eleanor.

The tone of the song Rainbows is full of hope and happy memories. The song recounts how Don turned his feeling of loss into remembrances of good times and hopefulness. Don sees his wife in a misty rainbow, in the evening sunset, and when day turns into fantasy.

The other songs are also love ballads expressing the myriad of feelings between lust and love. One of the cheekier songs is Give Me A Break. Listen to it and you will see why it is cheeky. The listener is left to her own conclusion as to whether the singer is referring to his lover or to his wife or to a lover who is also his wife.

Another cheeky song is Just Call 911. It is cheeky for a different reason than Give Me A Break. For those who live outside the United States, 911 is the phone number that anyone in the U.S. can dial from any phone, without charge, to be connected to emergency services. The singer, cheekily, sings about calling 911 because she feels that missing her loved one is an emergency.

Maker of Dreams is lyrical with an upbeat tempo. It is a very easy song to listen to. It refers to the Maker Of Dreams being a Lord of the Night, which is a lot more pleasant than the Sandman.

I Live The Fantasy speaks of just being. No second-guessing, no attempt to determine motivations; just being.
