Weitere Informationen vom Distributor:
It’s like licking your favorite cherry lollypop, or nursing a glass of Yellowtail shiraz. As the last note of "She’s Gone" plays through your headphones, car speakers, or home stereo, you will be wishing there was more. Yet, paradoxically, you’ll be content with the slow, steady buzz that lingers on, pulsing through your entire being, until you hit "replay" and start it all over again.

Janna Audey is a rare talent, and her ethereal voice is sure to cast a spell on you. If you put Jewel, Natalie Merchant, Nora Jones, and Joni Mitchell in a blender, add two teaspoons of sugar and one cup skim milk, puree for about two minutes, well, out would come "Janna". Her audiences leave each performance wondering why she hasn’t "made it". And yet Janna grins each time she hears this question, because "making it" to her means doing what you love, regardless of the level of fame one achieves by doing so. To her, she is making it.

Janna has written over 50 songs and has been performing as a solo artist since 1998. She’ll virtually play any venue, including biker rallies, benefit shows, farmer’s markets, bookstores, lounges, and coffeehouses. "Music connects all types of people through sound, lyrical content, and energy, and it is my ongoing mission to accomplish this connection, whether during a live show or through my recorded material."

Janna is also involved with studio projects outside of her own. She recently recorded back-up tracks for the electronica group, Hitchcock Blonde, and can be heard on their take of Lou Reed’s "Satellite of Love," released on Wampus Multimedia’s "After Hours: A Tribute to the Music of Lou Reed" in 2003.
