Raised in Iowa City, IA, and Madison, WI, Anna has since lived in rural Minnesota, Belgium, Florida, and the Bay Area, where she has stayed since 2003. Anna’s debut CD, "Outta My Head" (Ginkgo), a combination of living room and studio recordings, was tracked between the winter of 2005 and the spring of 2006 in San Francisco, CA, and Madison. This collection--twelve meditations on love--also features the work of Birger Olsen (San Francisco), Nick Moran (Madison), Jason Quever (San Francisco), and Mark Whitcomb (Madison). Anna now lives in San Francisco (with frequent midwestern visits).
