The Beekeeper Summit are based in Belfast and formed through a shared love of music and a desire to develop as far as possible as song-writers. The band has been described as acoustic indie and we feel this is a fair description. We have been influenced by bands as diverse as Wilco, Ron Sexsmith, You Am I, The Lemonheads and Jeff Buckley. We have four members including Rick on vocals/acoustic guitar, Chris playig lead guitar, Jack on Bass, and Gary on Drums. The ’On Viper Point’ ep is our second recording and represents a major development for us. We feel we have capitalised on our experiences of making our first ep. Going into the studio we had a much better idea of what to expect and how to make better use of our time. We also spent a longer time there, and the song writing has developed for this second release.
