Hailing from southern Maine, the members of gocasual have played together in various groups during high school until the band finally coalesced into its present form in 2001. During the fall of 2002, gocasual recorded its first album, a self-titled 8-song CD. Released in the winter of 2003, the disc gathered a loyal fan base for the band. With live shows full of contagious energy, gocasual continues to grow.

While the band members attended across New England, the band struggled with the conflicting schedules of its five-piece lineup. This relegated time spent playing to weekends and school vacations, making it difficult to maintain a steady momentum. Now three years since recording their debut album, the members of gocasual have graduated from college and are more than ready to put out an action-packed sequel. The time has finally come.

’The Whole Time I Knew You’ is gocasual’s second EP. It features seven tracks charged with white-hot energy and blazing guitars. For this album, gocasual recruited the highly capable and locally renowned Jonathan Wyman to record, mix, and produce. Following Wymanâs work, Grammy Award-winning Adam Ayan of Gateway Mastering in Portland, ME mastered the new masterpiece.

Combining musical maturity, a unique melodic style, and raw punk rock aggression, âThe Whole Time I Knew Youâ reflects the growth of one of southern Maineâs favorite rock bands.
