The roots of Joe Kovachâs music were established while hitch-hiking across the United States sewing wild oats. That is when he learned to appreciate many styles of music with people from all walks of life. He further pursued his love of musical diversity by traveling to, and entertaining in, over 30 foreign countries. This was all accomplished while being legally blind. Today he devotes his time to sharing his music with the less fortunate, teaching, as well as performing solo or with the Great American Gypsies.
