Tripping West are a Vancouver pop rock outfit who’s hook heavy songwriting and memorable melodies have earned them comparisons to such acts as The Pretenders, Blondie and The Cranberries.

Formed in 2004, Tripping West are Tricia Kelly on vocals, Alex Picard on guitar, Orlando Kutic on bass and John Bardsley on drums. Tripping West have been playing in and around Vancouver for the last 2 years and have just released their first full length CD entitled Scenes From Our Lives. Scenes From Our Lives brings together 11 songs that range from everyday relationships to battles with anxiety and depression. The album also showcases the bands various musical influences which range from pop rock, to jazz, to celtic.
