Weitere Informationen vom Distributor:
Peter Reefer was born in New Jersey in 1980, but moved to North Carolina early in life and is proud to say he is a product of the South. Rap music reached Reefer at a young age. Some of his first influences were LL Cool J, Kool Moe D, Cypress Hill, The Bestie Boys, and even Vanilla Ice. Later Pete listen to hip hop classics such as B.I.G., Tupac, OutKast, Rakim, The Roots, BlackStar, and many others. Reef says he is also heavily influenced by not only other genres of music, but also the local artists he has grown up around.

Peter Reefer focuses hard on all elements of creating music along with handling many aspects of business. Pete graduated with a degree in Media Studies and Production from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Currently, he balances his two jobs while maintaining his committments to his full time hobby of music and the lady in his life. Plus, Pete finds time to work on not only the creation, but the musical production as well. In addition, he focuses on the networking and overall promotion for Resonated Records.

Pete Reef stays on the grind, working 9 to 2 then 3 to 9. Besides cooking on the hot grill in the mornings at Applebee’s and running the soundboard for a local radio station in the afternoons, Reefer also finds ways to turn side profits in any free time he finds. You can always find the best local music in the back of Peter Reefers car, which clocks constant miles on the open Carolina highways. Peter Reefer sells CD’s for a wide range of listeners, from the "Epitome of Gangsta Shit" to stuff that your momma might like.

Peter Reefer began building his lyrical style spending his time rapping with the many local emcees in the Raleigh-Durham area. He has been featured on numerous works around the Triangle. The Pro-L album, FOR FREE, Peter Reefer’s first published work, was released in 2001 and featured him on the song "Seasonz". In addition, he collaborated with ThaDVus1 on several songs off the first Resonated Records album, STANDARD DVATION and is featured on the latest Resonated release LOCALLY RESPECTED. Pete has done recording work with several other local labels and also spends time helping to promote for some North Carolina’s hottest up and coming rappers and musicians.

Peter Reefer’s first solo album, CHRONOLOGY, is the story of Pete’s coming of age through time. It has been years in the making, but the wait was worth it. Chronology features blazing production as well as some special guest appearances by several of Triangle’s top artists. Catchy melodic hooks and potent lyrics will be sure to set this album apart plus quiet any doubters. Chronology includes the hit singles "Seasons Change", "Book of Life", and "War" along with several other Resonated collaborations such as "Blazin Arboretums" and "Triangles". Chronology is the study through time of chronic to steady your mind. Detailed with the trials and tribulations of his own life experiences, Chronology follows Reefers’ progression toward becoming an established, respected artist.

"I want to convey a positive message. Be real with yourself. If you really want to be a rapper or musician then work hard at it. But, hip-hop is not for the squeamish, fake, or faint of heart. Go all out or don’t go at all, but be safe. I’ve worked hard to get where I am and I’m still not too far, but I’ll be damned if I lose my grip, game, chain, or life over any type of stupid shit. Yall can save it! Know Jesus, Know peace...NO Jesus, NO peace. I can’t allow myself to be misled by the media, the masses, or our leaders and neither should you. Has our sense of religion and humanity been lost? It isn’t looking so good from here. We’re building more prisons than schools, carelessly making worldwide enemies, and polluting every aspect of our environment. I want people to start being more aware of these things".
