Mi$$ Chamillion is YUBI Entertainment’s first, and her musical ability stands out from the rest. This singer, songwriter, poet, and MC describe herself as a "classical energetic genius of versatility and creativity." True to her moniker, her music showcases a wide range of styles. "The Love is Real" is a sentimental Jazz/R&B ballad, while "Don’t Front" is a gritty Jazz/Hip-Hop song where she flaunts her aggressive flow. "Just for You" has an R&B/Pop flow, while "Get Dough" is an outstanding collaboration of Hip-Hop and a touch of opera and the rest, you define. . . .
Miss Natalie Freeman a.k.a. Mi$$ Chamillion was born on March 3, 1982 in the Park Hill section of Staten Island, New York to Liberian parents. She was raised in various parts of the world, including Florida and West Africa. At a young age, she discovered her love for music, and began performing at the age of six. Before partnering with Rob Brutus of YUBI Entertainment, she traveled and toured with various artists, competed in freestyle battles against other MC’s, and has organized and performed in talent shows. She is currently working on her forthcoming album, "Camouflage Chameleon."
Mi$$ Chamilion aims to bring back the compassion that is missing in much of today’s urban music. Creative flexibility is this "Shaolin Honeycomb’s" forte`. Born in Staten Island, Mi$$ Chamillion definitely has a "killerbee" instinct. She is completely entertaining, totally sexy, very sassy and consistently creative. She feeds crowds with what she calls "Lyrical Nutrition." Mi$$ Chamillion does not stop until her audience is well satisfied. In that case, the audience always wants more so she keeps on flowing! Her outgoing and adventurous personality makes her an outstanding artist. She’s inspired by artists like EVE, Da Brat, Erykah Badu, Tupac Shakur, L.L. Cool J, Biggie Smalls, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald and other profound artists. Her wide range of musical influences makes her musically competent. Her melodic creations are a combination of different musical genres such as jazz, hip hop, pop, house, and R&B. She has been writing songs and poetry since the age of 12 and now at the fresh age of 21 she is an exceptional writer. Mi$$ Chamillion has had several of her works published. Her most recognized piece "Shine Past the Streets of the Ghetto" was published in The Black Reign Community Newspaper in 1998.
Mi$$ Chamillion can freestyle spontaneously, enthusiastically using clever couplets with a laid-back charm. With an outgoing, expressive, ambitious personality, creative genius, and spiritual foundation, Mi$$ Chamillion is someone who people will admire and respect for years to come.
