Kurz-Beschreibung von CDbaby: "There is much here that is a respectful nod to pre-Gen X classic rock and punk, but there is also a wonderfully resilient amalgamation of grunge and emo that is so tightly welded to their desire to rock that the sound is surprisingly original."

"The band Zelazowa has a musical flavor as disjointed as spending a day in the town Zelazowa. In one set you can revel in their dark lyrical horrors, get a chill in your breath from the salt-in-the wounds animated playing, and still appreciate the beauty of some the underlying themes in their tightly knit music. It can make for a heavy trip.
So, is this an "artsy" band? Well, the Dragonfly ain’t the Frederic Chopin Museum and, after all, this was a rock show. I would have called this set a semi-rejection of polished, ego-oriented corporate metal rock via the adoption of slightly melodic, fully substantial, intense hardcore musical sensationalism, but that’s just me. Fortunately, I have quotes of real people. From the long-term (who wishes anonymity) local music fan:
"They’ve got some freaking stuff." [Note: FCC approved version, repeat phrase numerous times, and insert picture of slack jaw and vacant stare].
Then there’s my favorite, from someone who has actually seen Zelazowa on each of their three prior appearances in the Harrisburg area in the last three years (although the band promises to increase that to bi-monthly in the future), "These guys come along like a revolution or a revelation, an epiphany. Here are four young guys who, y’know, come to a show like its ’work every morning’, take off their egos, and start to lay musical waste. There’s just a minimum of mystique and bull and attitudinizing, and here we are - blown away. How great is that?"
