Less than four months after releasing her debut album, Atlanta Urban Mediamakers awarded her "Best Independent R&B Artist" during their ’1st Annual Indie Awards.’ The album, Sunshine, delivers a smooth, soulful blend of R&B mixed with the youthful sounds of today’s Pop and Hip Hop. The new album was released under Xaviera’s own indie imprint ---Sunshyne Music.

The singer/songwriter is riding high on the success of Sunshine. She has established steady rotation on Urban Independent Radio, airplay in Japan and the United Kingdom, and has won several awards. From the Netherlands to Australia, Xaviera is becoming a household name in more than 16 countries around the world.

Xaviera, a New Jersey native, has loved music since she was a child and attributes her musical start to singing in her local church choir. Xaviera relocated to Atlanta at age 19 to pursue a career in music. In early 2004, Xaviera founded Sunshyne Music. Working alongside Georgia producer, David Leonard, Xaviera penned all of the songs on her debut effort. Covering the ups and downs of love, Sunshine touches on topics such as new love, infatuation, heartbreak, and life after love.
