"Body of Pain", featuring "Dick Cheney’s Blues", is a meditation on our contemporary situation. It begins with a screaming saxophone and drum duet and then proceeds into more meditative and serene feelings. The intensity never lets up.

He is one of the major innovators of the SF free music scene and has led the Ritual Band and the Free Orchestra. He has played with Eddie Gale, Greg Goodman, Henry Kaiser, Rova, The Appliances and worked in New York in the sixties with The Pageant Players, Bread and Puppet Theatre, The Living Theatre, and the Motherfuckers. His first albums Live at Pangea 1 & 2 were voted best improvised albums of the year by Cadence Magazine.
