"Jazz on the Vine" is the brainchild of four gifted musicians living and working in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. One warm summer evening, after a dinner party, including a particularly voluptuous Merlot, musicians Barry Schiffman, Dan Goldfus, Larry Baskett and Tom Edwards "banded" together to explore the possibility of producing an album that reflected the joyful lifestyle of the wine country - to be offered for sale in local shops and wineries.
