Theresa Michaels - The Musician
Behind a polished and calm exterior lies a power that claims your soul and pulls you deep into the world of Theresa Michaels. Pounding rhythms and fast flowing guitars provided by co-founder Brian Haskins propel the music harder as Theresa pours out her soul in the duo’s new album "Do You Feel Lucky".
"This album speaks for itself. Brian and I really wanted to combine our talents and create music that goes beyond the ordinary; music that people don’t just listen to but find a piece of themselves in", said Theresa, who defines herself as a very happy and blessed person although the lyrics of the songs would leave you to believe she is a woman who has experienced a lot of hardship in life. Indeed, from the desperation of "Wake Up" to the reminiscent ’This Life" there is an overpowering echo of hope. "Call It What You Want" and "Tears Of Blood" confront the ugly side of relationships. "We’ve all been there", said Theresa "It’s part of growing up. You’ve got to face the bad to know what’s good".

"Brian and I have worked so hard to make this album a reality. We pulled from our pasts and used everything. He is an amazing musician and can play every instrument. Song writing is great because we can sit together and write and songs just flow together. I’ll be on the piano and he’ll grab his guitar. It’s as if we can read each other’s minds," said Theresa. This cohesiveness is what gives "Do You Feel Lucky" its power and energy, where the passionate performance of the music surrounds the senses to only further intricate the complexity of the message. "Do You Feel Lucky isn’t a question, it’s a statement; and Theresa Michaels already knows your answer....
