From an island off the beautiful Washington coastline comes an ambitious new project, Ron Stubbs’ "The Heart’s Journey". This unique album combines noted clinical hypnotherapist and instructor Ron Stubbs’ narration with the music of acclaimed keyboardist and composer Laurie Z to create an incredibly powerful relaxation experience.
Ron Stubbs places the listener in a relaxed, hypnotic state, then through the use of storytelling and metaphor, provides a comfortable environment in which tension and anxiety can be released. Many listeners with physical aliments affected by stress find themselves relaxed and uplifted by this album. The score created by composer Laurie Z specially to accompany Ron’s Narration provides a lush backdrop for the piece.
To further the meditative state following "The Heart’s Journey" story, Laurie Z’s music provides the beautiful second track on this CD, bringing the total CD time to just under one hour.
Ron Stubbs is one of the most respected clinical hypnotherapists, lecturer and instructors of hypnotherapy in the Pacific Northwest, in addition to being a certified Reiki Master/Teacher and expert in NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming). Ron is a respected author on hypnotherapy and communication and his new book, "Can’t Get Through: Eight Barriers to Communication" will available on Pelican Books in the summer of 2003.
Laurie Z, accomplished pianist, keyboardist, composer and recording artist has four solo recording currently available on the Zebra Productions label. Her titles include "Roots, The Solo Piano Album", which was considered for 8 Grammy nominations and has received critical acclaim worldwide.
