Who is Walter Foster?

If association paves the way to success, then Walter Foster is well on his way. He spent twelve years with James Brown as Road Manager, Stage Manager, and back-up vocalist. Prior to his James Brown association, before then sang some with the Fiesta’s who had the 60’s hit "So Fine". He also spent a year in 1962 with "Otis Redding Show"on the road. While with James brown, Walter founded and established internationally known young group "Kool and the Gang". Later, Walter Foster assisted on the road the rock group of "Bad Finger" and did some driving for such well known groups as Queen, Taji Mahall, and the Late Joe Tex,

Besides his vocal talent, and his behind the scenes accomplishments, Walter remarkably finds the time to compose music and lyrics and has been relatively successful with his recordings of the songs "Long Time Yesterday" and "I’m Going Home". Walter Foster’s major accomplishments in the recording field include a song he wrote that captured the attention of the south and epically the state of Georgia called "Peanut Man"In 1976 This song was written and produced prior to Jimmy Carter’s Election as President.

As Walter has expanded his talent and knowledge of the entertainment business through his association with such stars as The Fiestas, Otis Redding, James brown, Kool and the Gang, Bad Finger, Queen, Taji Mahall and Kansas, he has simultaneously expanded his desire to make a major contribution of his own to "The Business" by his continued song writing and his soon to be released album showcasing his own style of
the oldest and most familiar sound in the business R&B.

Walter Foster’s Release"In 1986 Lady With the Golden Heart was a Tributeb to the STATUE OF LIBERTY and we are sure that Walter with his talent, knowledge and major association in the business will very soon receive the attention he now
deserves and"the major’s"in the business will want a PERMANENT ASSOCIATION
with THE MAN that has Associated with THE BEST.
