An original member of Hamsa Lila, Sarita Pockell performed the Kora, as well as many of the lead vocals and vocal arrangements on the "Gathering One" album.

After a classical vocal career which brought her to tour the world with award winning choirs, Sarita lived and traveled throughout Latin America collecting traditional melodies as she visited with many indigenous people from Mexico to Argentina Sarita self-produced her solo album "Songlines" (www.saritasong.com), a compilation of her own ethnic-spirit-folk songs inspired by her travels. More recently, she co-produced and recorded "Bingo Americana" (www.bingoamericana.net) with her husband John Schroeder.

Currently, she is giving unique music and recording classes and workshops for children as will as performing the songs from her "Bubblejuice! Real Music for Kids" album.
