Just as the first synthesizer, the Theremin, was embraced by Hollywood Horror films of the 1950’s, Techno Music is finding it’s natural (or shall we say "supernatural") home at today’s Halloween Parties and Productions.

In 2002, after scoring a documentary film, Scott Upper was commissioned to start creating music for a large chain of Halloween stores in the the San Francisco Bay Area.

In March 2003, Scott brought his music to the Halloween Costume and Party Show in Chicago, an annual event that draws Haunted House production companies, costume manufacturers, novelty distributors, and party stores from all over the country. The show proved to be the perfect venue for Scott’s debut CD, Rave-O-Ween. "It was very cool. By the second day, the CD was pumping out of space tunnels, robot heads, flying coffins, and fashion show speakers." There was also a small listening station that paid off in the form of a large queue of advance orders and the incentive to create his second CD, Rave-O-Ween 2: Monsters Re-Mixed.
