Nate Clendenen is a singer/songwriter/performer born in Philadelphia, PA. He currently resides in Virginia at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Clendenen’s influences are widely eclectic - from Reggae and world music to Appalachian folk - from 60’s psychedelia to new age industrial. He seeks to put words to the random moments in life that one will always remember - to record his thoughts as a soundtrack of his life - to find those tiny things that often go unnoticed. This is the stuff of great art - the melody of meaningful music.

Currently Nate is performing with banjo virtuoso, Robert Mabe who hails from the hills of North Carolina. Robert has toured and recorded with David Via and Larry Keel. In addition, he’s also performed with Johnny Cash, Leftover Salmon and the String Cheese Incident to name a few. Their music together is completely original - contemporary yet traditional - progressive yet classic. When they are joined by the full band, drummer/percussionist Curtis Krams and bassist John Nichols bring a distinct jazz/funk/fusion to the mix. No matter what ensemble cast Nate hits the stage with, everyone in the audience is prime for great music.
