BIOGRAPHY
As the 21st Century began to unravel in the winter of 1999, something unexplainable named Melancholieia was born. Founded by temptation2017, Melancholieia was created from the dissatisfaction of the state of the world, the current state of music, and their own personal descent. In hopes of changing the world, Melancholieia has been building a ’Family’ ever since to accomplish this by performing shows throughout Southern California, revealing their music to as many people as possible, and constantly challenging themselves to accomplish whatever is possible.
Through the release of Melancholieia’s debut album/EP ’Delujourie’ and after selling over 1100 copies since its release on June 24th 2003 (without any assistance from Record Labels, Distribution or Media), Melancholieia is slowly preparing themselves to ’Conquer The World’ with their charismatic music, poetic lyrics, revolutionary ideas, and unique sound. Melancholieia is not just a band or just another form of entertainment. They are a state of mind. They are a reflection of the world, our surroundings, and a reflection of ourselves. A reflection of you and I, and we have only just begun.
