King B.A.V. is back with "Rhyme Bomb!" the follow up to the highly successful "Violence Is Golden" CD, which was nominated for several San Diego Music awards in 2000.

King B.A.V. was born in Chicago, Illinois. He now makes his home in San Diego, California. He began writing songs at the age of 12.

King B.A.V. was the founding member, songwriter, and lead rapper for the group "Positive Touch." In 1992, King B.A.V. left "Positive Touch" to focus on his solo career.

Since this time, King B.A.V. has continued to write and record songs. His self-titled release "King B.A.V." featured the songs, "Gang War," "Tina Marie," and "White Dove." His 1997 Album entitled, "Demo" featured the songs, "Let’s Get Busy My Way," and "Power and Glory."

King B.A.V.’s 1999 EP "I Rock," received national attention when Gavin and Impact both included a favorable review of the CD in their trade magazines. The EP is still being played in over 65 clubs throughout the East Coast.

King B.A.V.’s 2000 release, "Violence Is Golden" received positive reviews by many national publications including, Gavin, Impact, Slamm Magazine, North County Times, and the San Diego Union Tribune.

In addition, the song, "I Rock" was nominated for Best Rap Song of the Year 2001 by Just Plain Folks, a national music professional’s organization. King B.A.V. was nominated as Best Rapper and Best Rap Album of the Year at the 2000 San Diego Music Awards. King B.A.V. has received a special award by ASCAP two years in a row.

The album is currently being played nationwide on XM Satellite Radio and on Radio Free Virgin.

King B.A.V.’s 2002 CD "Rhyme Bomb!" has hard-hitting rhymes and beats that let you know that King B.A.V. means business. From the Intro to the Outro you are taken on a high-speed adventure with the King of Rap. The single "A Night With The King" allows you to accompany the King on a wild night out with his posse. "I Bleed" is a romantic ballad that describes a rollercoaster relationship and the pain associated with a break-up.

You take to the streets in a high-speed thriller as the King and his crew take you from the fast lane to death row on "No Prints On The Gun." It’s no holds barred sparring as King B.A.V. shares mic duty with rap protégé Raw-B on the slammin’ track "Who The F--K We Be?"
