I was born in the small north Florida town of Fernandina Beach also known as Amelia Island. From a very early age I had an interest in music.

At 3 years old I would sing in Church and imitate my Pastor by stomping my feet and shaking my fist as if I were preaching. Sometimes I would sing a special, my family just knew I was going to grow up to be a Preacher.

As I got older so did my ideas about music. Eventually I would find myself playing country and southern rock in the bars and lounges throughout the country, and opening for anyone I could. By the late 70’s my group and I had earned the reputation of being one of the best club bands around. For the next several years I played as much as I could.

Having a family made being an entertainer somewhat challenging, I was home during the days and was playing music at nights. My family always supported my efforts because they knew that’s what I loved to do.

To say it was my calling may have been true, but the content of the music and the place I was doing it in was not. To add to that situation, the drugs and the lifestyle that went with along with being somewhat of a local celebrity ended up being my downfall.

I need not elaborate.

By 1996 I had come to a point in my life where I was just searching. I didn’t know for what, but at times I would feel the Spirit of the Lord on me and deny it was Him. Still performing the clubs and now taking care of my Father who had both legs amputated, life was really tough. We were invited to an Easter program at a local Church so my Dad and I went. It was then I felt God move on me again. Going back to visit and later to a revival I heard Dr. Bailey Smith preach on the wheat and the tare. During the invitation he ask the congregation to look at each other and say "we were positive we were saved". When I looked at the guy next to me I couldn’t say that. So this man of God ask me if I was ready to get right with God, and he went to the front with me.

I knew I had to leave the club scene, which I did after working out a short notice. What I didn’t know was what God had in store for me. I had been praying for guidance and direction and God answered that prayer in an awesome way by putting such a beautiful person in my life, my wife Wanda.

She has been friend, a partner, and has unshakable faith in God and his calling on our lives. I am now back on stage and delivering God’s message through music and testimony. We serve a loving and caring God, and I hope you can see through our music and what he has brought me through that he can reach anyone, even YOU.
