Only a year after Johnny blazed us with his debut album, "Dangerous Liaisons," he returns with a new spin of collected remixes and unreleased bonus tracks on "Armed & Dangerously Remixed."

"Armed & Dangerously Remixed" features 14 tracks*, with the majority of them produced by "Dangerous Liaisons" original beat-banger, Tori Fixx. Johnny also recruits Detroit-based producer/artist, Aaron-Carl for production and a cameo on the hot and sultry club remix of "Topsy Turvy." Also, Phat Family Records’ founder, Dutchboy stops by to hit-switches on the hard and cripsy "Not Black Enough," hemming it into a West-Coast-flaired rendition of the original.

Special guest stars include Brooklyn-based dyke rapper, God-des, who battles Johnny on the stereotypes of lesbians and gays on the amusingly witty and confrontational "Debate," as well as the funky and hook-laiden "Dangerous." Electro/Rap duo Scream Club also come to wreck shop with a seductively charming, yet boldly-brazen remix of "Me No Wan Dat." In addition, soulful songstress Tina G.(of God-des) lends her vocal-stylings not only once, but numerous times throughout "Armed." Tina G. starts the album with a gospel-fused introduction, then navigates her way with a slow and silky melodic Madonna tribute over Johnny’s testimonial to date-rape drugs on "You’re Mine/Dangerous Liaison." ALL FAGS TO THE DANCE-FLOOR! "WHAT???" Johnny delivers a high-energy house remix of "Not Your Average" where he commands vogue-club bitches to "work that shit" over a fuel-injected creative sampling of "Moments In Love." Johnny also spits pure fire on the highly acidic "10 Dis," directing opposing counterpart MC’s to back the fuck up as he pays homage to the likes of MC Lyte and Roxanne Shante.

Although "Armed & Dangerously Remixed" carries and warrants a Parental Advisory Sticker, the first three full-length tracks are clean, FCC-friendly joints designed with the radio-DJ in mind. But don’t worry, the dirty artistry that makes Johnny’s craft so wickedly entertaining still remains evident, without becoming even close to being compromised... And even though he offers a few tame versions of his singles, he’s just as "Dangerous" as ever!
