CHARLES "KEITH" HURLOCK - THE MAN AND HIS MUSIC
Keith, as he wishes to be called, is a person that you couldn’t help but to like when you first meet him. He has a look about him that shows that he likes everyone no matter their appearance, race or religion. He talks and acts like a very spiritual person which indeed he is. He was born in the parish of St. James, Jamaica on January 26, 1954. His family being musical gave him a talent very early in his life for music. Three prodigious brothers before him became his inspiration. His second album "Chain Reaction" provides a unique glimpse into his motivations, his outlook on life, thoughts, ideas and inspirations.
Above all you realize you have met a man who is honest, respectful, caring and loving toward his fellow man. His music is the mirror of his soul. It comes from his heart and he wants everyone to feel it in theirs as he plays and sings. His music is his life and he wants to share it with everyone.
When he plays the rhythm it makes people want to dance with the joy of living and freedom of expression. You seem to abandon the cares and fears of your life for the pure enjoyment of the moment as he sings and plays. Many people have had the pleasure of experiencing Keith and his music when he is on tour regularly in Washington D.C., New York, Connecticut, California, Virginia, North and South Carolina and in his home state of Florida.
