Hailing from Southern California, Gabe Soriano, 20 years old, is a completely self-taught musician. A singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Gabe Soriano is gaining respect as a diverse and talented individual. Soriano started out on piano at the tender age of 6 and from there, leaped into drums, guitar, bass, and eventually vocals, giving him more than a decade of experience on each instrument. Having played drums in hardcore/metal bands, guitar in funk/jazz band "Casual Sex" of Chico, CA, drums and percussion in hip-hop/rock band "Pyrx" of Chico, CA, and countless collaborations and jam sessions with many musicians, Soriano has composed a style all his own. On his new EP aptly titled "Demo 2005", Gabe Soriano plays all instruments (drums, bass, guitar, vocals, and percussion) in a mixture of funk, rock, blues, jazz, and pocket-grooves. Having been compared to Stevie Ray Vaughn, Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Mayer, Dave Matthews, and others, Soriano is slowly but surely making a name for himself. Among the many shows Soriano has played in his lifetime, he has been proud to share the stage with such bands as Julian Marley, Pepper, 40 Watt Hype, B-Side Players, and many more. A cover photo shot in "The Buzz", the Press-Enterprise's entertainment newspaper, and a live radio set with former bandmates of "Casual Sex" on 90.1 KZFR in Chico, CA, Gabe Soriano has had immense experience in performing and entertaining. Be sure to check out Gabe Soriano's new self-produced/composed EP, "Demo 2005". Soriano is not currently signed but dreams of giving the world something genuine and pure in the midst of this reality-show-indie-geek-mediocrity-sreamo-fashion-trend that has paralyzed our culture and shrouded true music.
