I entitled this CD Haunted Hollowbody as a tribute to my favorite guitar, the 1964 Guild Starfire III.

Unlike most electric guitars which are made out of solid wood, the Starfire is an acoustic guitar with electric pickups.

This collection of songs at times seemed to spring forth from the depths of its hollow interior.

I sometimes felt that I was simply the medium and that once I got into the right zone, I could just keep strumming and let the guitar suggest the next chord change.
