Growing up in the seventies I was introduced to electronic music at an early age. Two albums that stand out from that era are "Black Mass Lucifer" by Mort Garson and "Ceremony" by Spooky Tooth. Both of these recordings utilized the electronic medium in a religious setting. In "Mass" I started with Gregorian Chant samples and composed a series of electronic pieces around them. I've incorporated a variety of styles including classical, rock and jazz. Each piece is an entire statement in song form. The CD concludes with an Amen.
