Singer songwriter Dina Fanai has performed throughout the United States and abroad as a vocalist, pianist and original composer. Recent engagements include Lincoln Center's Meet the Arist's Series, Lincoln Center Real to Real, WFUV's Nightbirds series, The Songwriter's Hall of Fame, Amerterdam's A2A Music Festival, and her own Visions series, which she has curated at most of New York's top venues. Having toured as a featured singer with the Arena Rock sensation Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Dina has collaborated with a wide range of artists and groups from heavy metal/ jazz guitarist, Alex Skolnick to Flux quartet members Dave Eggar and Tom Chiu, to choreographers such as Rebecca Stem of The Perks Dance Company and Michele de la Reza and Peter Kope of Attack Theater.

Continuing to receive enthusiastic reviews by magazines nationwide, such as Performing Songwriter, Rhythm Magazine, Resonance Magazine and New Life Magazine, Dina Fanai is often compared to artists as diverse as Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Alanis Morrisette, Sara Brightman, Peter Gabriel, the poet Rumi and even the music of Cirque du Soleil and the Goddess Kali. Within this style that is uniquely hers, she incorporates sounds and textures of classical, modern and world instruments including piano, strings, ambient keyboards, jazz harp, guitar, upright bass, harmonium, the ancient sultry, and African, Indian and middle eastern percussion, using her extensive ballet and modern dance backround in many of her shows.

As recently appointed The Director of Music Ministries of The Cor Chrisi Institute (an organization created under the direction of the late Mother Teresa of Calcutta) and through countless benefit performances and charity events, she continues to perform and produce concerts and recordings to inspire the process of peace in the world.
