"Sweet Sad Dream" is a live recording in a studio setting. Planned, performed, mixed and mastered in three hours on February 13, 2004 at The Wallysound in Oakland, California, Cory Dale's debut album is what you would have likely heard in one of several bars, coffee houses, living rooms, street corners, and BART stations around the Bay Area, any day of the week, in 2003. Each of the twelve original songs on "Sweet Sad Dream," which features only voice and acoustic guitar, were recorded on the first take.
