Born in Yorkshire, began playing the guitar aged 7, later studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, recieving classes with Classical Guitar Legend John Williams.

Andrew began composing and together with fellow guitar student, Paul Dwyer, performed all over the UK, also in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Cyprus, Germany and Turkey. 2 albums with Sony Music Europe, 3 radio hits, radio tours, and a support tour with Suzanne Vega.

Lived in Turkey for 13 years, co-wrote and co-produced 7 albums (in excess of 3 million sales), for the Turkish music icon Zülfü Livaneli and local stars Aylin and Mustafa Sandal.
Radio shows and appearances for Power FM, Turkey's most successful radio station. Andrew & Paul wrote and released their own album in Turkey (singing in Turkish).
Sponsors included BMW and Quicksilver, and the album received positive reviews from"Billboard".Several concerts in Turkey's 5.000- seat Amphitheatres, and a multitude of TV appearances.In 1998, Andrew won the "Crystal Apple", for the best radio jingle of the year in Turkey (Panasonic).
