When a group of skateboard buddies from The Netherlands found even more common ground in modern punk rock music, art, and politics in the late nineties, a creative bond was formed. In 1999 The foursome christened themselves Against Time (after being known locally as Fight Against Time, or "FAT" - which means "cool" in Holland) and released "...and not for anyone".

The album was a monumental debut for Against Time, and found receptive audiences around the globe. Against Time's partnership with Meter Records and musical ambition led them onto the stage with Strung out, Satanic Surfers, No Motiv, The Misfits, and many more.

In 2002 the band released their last record "Never Forever" - a more mature and moody punk rock record. The second and final Against Time record was also a success but creative visions within the group and changes in the initial comradery made disbandment the next logical step. The members of Against Time remain great friends to this day and guitarist Justin, vocalist Ivo, and new drummer Kees can be found playing together in July Knives... a band to keep your eye on in the near future.
