Prior to Tristraum, Randall was one of the founders of the legendary Twitch Remix Service (San Francisco). Steven Cochran, vocalist/lyricist, set out to collaborate with musicians from around the world, in need of an added vocalist. First starting off as a music major at Pasadena City College in California, studying music composition, voice, piano and guitar, then a continued study of voice with the highly proclaimed Gloria Rush, who amongst her students during this time was Lisa Marie Presley.
